Welcome Back, Quiz Night and Y6 Bikeability — Newsletter 5 June 2026
An emotional and uplifting week at SPC — our Year 6 made us so proud during their SATs, some of our older children received their First Holy Communion at St Lawrence's Church, and we celebrated Ascension Day.
This week at SPC
It has been another busy week here at SPC. We have had our Year 6 SATs assessments — they did brilliantly — and we have even had an injured pigeon to rescue!
Last weekend, staff from SPC were fortunate enough to attend the First Holy Communion at St Lawrence's Church, where some of our Year 3, 4, 5 and 6 children received Communion for the first time. We also celebrated these children in our Friday Assembly, which is always a wonderful event.
Thursday was Ascension Day, reminding us of Jesus' promise that the Holy Spirit will always be with us and that Jesus will return to Earth.
Year 6 SATs — so proud of you all
Our Year 6s made us very proud this week with their commitment, enthusiasm and focus in the SATs exams. As always, we are so proud of their fantastic progress and are looking forward to celebrating their results. A huge thanks to all the parents, carers and staff for their support through an important week for our children.
